Non-surgery Testimonial 1 (Patient in Fremont)

I had tried so many things for my sciatica & low back pain that had bothered me for so many years.....all kinds of pain pills, MRIs, physical therapy, chiropractic care, neurology and orthopedics. My orthopedic doctor gave me a couple of injections for pain relief, but my sciatica pain was still there. Finally the doctors made the decision that I needed surgery. The surgery was scheduled, but I needed to wait for a month before going under the knife. Someone suggested that I might try acupuncture before surgery. I found Dr. Jack Chung whose clinic is in Union City. He treated my sciatica & low back pain with acupuncture treatments. I only visited the office 5 times, and all my pain was gone. Thanks to acupuncture treatments I got my sciatica & low back pain fixed without surgery!

Non-surgery Testimonial 2 (Patient in Union City)

I had carpal tunnel syndrome and tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis) for years. I saw chiropractors, physical therapists and orthopedists for a while without success. I got injections twice, but nothing worked so the doctor referred me for surgery. They told me that even with surgery there was not a guarantee of a good result. One of the reasons they said this is because it’s common for people recovering from the carpal tunnel surgical procedure to experience some permanent loss of grip strength, loss of lifting strength in the wrist/forearm and nagging loss of full range of motion of the hand and wrist. So hand strength and function may be limited/compromised after surgery. I was really scared and wanted to try something else before the surgery. Why not try acupuncture treatment? Friends referred me to Dr. Jack Chung’s clinic. The first time I visited Dr. Jack Chung, I could not even hold a pen to fill out the paper form, but after several sets of acupuncture treatments, my hand pain had almost gone. I can use my hand to do housework like I did before. It’s amazing, I got my health back! Many thanks to Dr. Jack Chung, I recommend him to anyone who really wants to try good medical treatment without surgery.

Non-surgery Testimonial 3 (Patient in Millbrae)

The pain relievers could not stop the pain. The surgical doctor said that he could not help me. What should I do? I had low back pain since 2001. I saw M.D. doctors, chiropractors and physical therapy doctors; but my low back pain continued to get worse and worse. In January 2006, I suffered from severe low back pain. The pain was so severe that I had to lay in bed and could not get up for days. I could not turn over and I laid in bed in pain day and night without sleeping. Even doubling the amount of pain-relievers did not help. No drugs could help me. My family doctor referred me for an MRI. The results showed as following, L3-L4: There is disc desiccation and a broad-based disc bulge without significant central canal or neural foraminal narrowing, L4-L5: There is disc desiccation with a large broad-based disc bulge with a right para-central and lateral component which is likely extruded creating severe right central canal narrowing, severe narrowing of the right lateral recess and severe right neural foraminal narrowing. Mild left neural foraminal narrowing is present at this level as well. There is mild ligamentum flavum thickening. After reading the MRI report, my family doctor scheduled a surgical procedure for me. He told me that this was my only choice. So in May 2006, I was scheduled to have a surgical operation. When I arrived at hospital, the surgical doctors told me that they needed another special MRI CT scan before surgery, so I took another CT scan. After they studied the CT scan report, the surgical doctors surprised me by informing me that they could not do the operation. The CT scan report showed that the situation of my low back was far too serious to perform this operation! After hearing what they said, I felt like thunder & lightening had knocked me down. What should I do? What can I do? Do I have to sit in wheel chair the rest of my life like some one told me? I prayed and prayed… Thank God this led me to acupuncture treatment with Dr. Jack Chang at AAA Acupuncture in Union City, CA. At each treatment Dr. Chang inserted hair-thin disposal needles in my low back region, applied an infrared lamp and an electric stimulation unit. Some of the treatments included cupping or moxa treatments. I felt absolutely no pain, just very relaxed. Not too long after I started acupuncture treatment, I was healed and went back to work. I want to thank Dr. Chung for his excellent work, but Dr. Jack Chung is a humble man who did not want to take credit for healing my low back pain. He told me it was because God answered my prayers and we should give all glory, honor, and thanks to God. My experience is just another testimonial showing how God is Faithful.
